This song is from the Indian Tamil-language Movie Vasool Raja MBBS (a remake of the award winning Hindi film Munnabhai MBBS) This song was the source song of Trinidad East Indian band JMC 3Veni (Triveni)'s Chutney Soca remix of this song with Soca Monarch Bunji Garlin called "Sidiki" (Doi Festival.) In interviews, Sarika, one of the singers of 3Veni's remix kept referring to this song as "Sri Lankan." Man, reading that made me cringe. I dunno how she could be so ignorant and unable to realize that Hindi is not the only language in India, and there are far, far more Tamils in India than Sri Lanka. Hell, even a two minute google search would reveal that this is Indian Tamil movie (which was a remake of a Hindi movie.) But whatever. Both versions are good songs nonetheless.
